I enjoy fishing, volleyball, outdoors activities, reading, and being grandpa. I love teaching and I think most of my students can see that. Where did the name "McAwesome" come from? Well, about 6 years ago at Hadley Elementary, there was a first grader who must have misunderstood the pronounciation of "McEachern". He called me Mr. McAwesome. I laughed, but the nickname stuck. Within a month of that, the nickname had spread to Murphy and Schickler. I am glad the first grader didn't think my name was McAwefull!
